URGENT COVID-19 ANNOUNCEMENT
MARINElife policy in response to Novel Coronavirus 'COVID-19' - updated
MARINElife is continually monitoring the NHS medical advice and the UK Government response to the outbreak of COVID-19 across the UK. We have therefore updated our position as of 3rd April 2020.
We have a duty of care to our volunteers and event attendees and a responsibility to play our part in containing the virus. As a precautionary measure, it has been decided by the Board of Trustees to continue to suspend ALL ACTIVITIES UNTIL 30TH June 2020. For the avoidance of doubt, this includes all talks, training sessions, face-to-face meetings, surveys and Wildlife Officer trips.
Any immediate survey related queries should be directed to email@example.com Updates regarding the MARINElife position will be provided as the situation progresses.
Our policy is that we (as a minimum) follow the advice issued by the NHS (and NHS Scotland) which can be found at:
NHS DIRECT at: https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/
Many thanks for your co-operation and understanding.
Board of Trustees, MARINElife
