Fundraising for MARINElife

There are other ways to help MARINElife besides donating directly. Below are just a few examples of how you can support our work, get creative and have fun finding new and exciting ways to help us raise money!


Collection boxes

If you think you have space to display one of our collection boxes at, for example, your place of work, then please e-mail info@marine-life.org.uk for an information pack. You'd be surprised how quickly spare change can add up and as ever, we are grateful for every contribution made.

Recycling

We have teamed up with Recycle 4 Charity, a scheme dedicated to raising funds for charity by recycling old mobile phones, inkjet and laser/toner cartridges. MARINElife will receive 50% of the recycling value for any mobile phones, £1 for each original empty inkjet cartridge or up to £5 per empty laser/toner cartridge kindly donated by your friends, family or colleagues.

By doing so you will not only be helping us, but the environment too, by reducing waste and raw materials needed for the manufacture of non-recycled products.

 

Hold an event/get sponsoredRaising funds for MARINElife is a great way of meeting new people and helping to protect the marine environment at the same time

Why not hold a coffee morning in your community or hold a raffle? Or take part in a sponsored bike ride, or even skydive if you dare?!

Get creative and you'll be surprised at all the fantastic and fun ways you can help generate publicity, support and funds for MARINElife! In the past we've had people raise money from stalls in shopping centres, arranging MARINElife as the beneficiary of their local pub quiz, sponsorship of running races or even donation boxes at work!
