WLO Sightings
On the Portsmouth - Bilbao route our casual sighting
reports were collated by the Wildlife Officer who travelled on
every trip. The sightings mainly came from the WLO, but were also
collected from passengers on the ship. We are
very grateful to all passengers who passed
sightings (including bird records) to the Wildlife Officer over the
years when they were onboard.
Survey Sightings
Our survey data is collected only by our researchers on
the Bridge of the ship whilst conducting an effort-related
survey.
Both types of reports will be listed here. As the sampling methods differ however, it is likely that the sightings will also differ.
