MARINElife is a charity established to co-ordinate and develop a growing portfolio of global research and monitoring projects. Through these we aim to further the conservation of the wildlife of coasts and oceans through scientific investigation and educational activities.
Our projects started in 1995 with the Biscay Dolphin Research Programme; we now conduct conservation, research and education of the wildlife in the Bay of Biscay, the Channel, the Western Approaches and the North Sea.
As a charity, we rely on the help of volunteers, supporters, private boat and commercial vessel operators who give their time, financial aid and use of their vessels to carry out our conservation, research and public education projects.
