A dedicated MARINElife photo-identification expedition was successful in finding a pod of 6 - 8 White-beaked Dolphin, including juveniles, in the English Channel, 30 nautical miles south west of West Bay in Dorset.
The volunteer survey team were able to
take photographs of the animals to contribute to MARINElife's
photo-identification catalogue for the species.
The group of dolphins spent some time bow-riding the Channel
Warrior and enabled the team to also get some video footage
which has been uploaded to our blog.
