Now that the school holidays have begun, summer is in full
swing, and with the hot weather we've been having of late, no doubt
many of you will be heading to our coasts to swim, boat, and
generally have a good time.
However, it's important to remember that you'll be sharing the water with dolphins, porpoises, and seals, which may lead to some unexpected close encounters.
With this in mind, Natural England, along with several marine-related organisations, have put together a poster with the message to enjoy any encounters with marine wildlife, but be aware marine mammals can be easily disturbed (sometimes without us realising), and have provided some tips on having a positive encounter that's good for both you, and for the wildlife you're viewing.
