We Need Your Bottlenose Dolphin Photos!

Biscay and Channel Bottlenose Dolphin Images Required for MARINElife Photo-ID Catalogue

Have you taken images of Bottlenose Dolphins during a ferry or private sailing in the Bay of Biscay and the Channel? If so, we need your help!

Bottlenose Dolphins (©Mike Bailey/MARINElife)We would like to request copies of your photographs of Bottlenose Dolphins from anywhere in Biscay and the English Channel between early 1990s and 2010.

Your images will contribute towards the CHARM III Project. Using photo-ID techniques we will try to determine if the Channel Bottlenose Dolphins are part of a wider Atlantic population.

Please email images asap to Kate Lewis at kate.lewis@marine-life.org.uk, ensuring that you add your name and (if possible) the date on which the photo was taken, to the filename.

If your image files are particularly large (>5MB), please send to Kate via DropBox (www.dropbox.com/register) - it is free, easy to install and use.  Alternatively, please post images on a disc to the following address:
